I'm not sure if this guy is selling tea or something cold. In Syrian cities you'll see a good few of these guys around the place and they're dressed as they would have looked hundreds of years ago, complete with fez. If you don't want to buy a drink in the street you can always go to a cafe. Drinks which are popular are tea - black of course, coffee, and mint tea - very refreshing on a warm day.
